Dan Granero began his musical journey at age three. Before long young Dan was hooked on the guitar sounds of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

"I knew right away that I was destined to own and play Fender guitars.”

By the time he was thirteen the dream had come true and he was gigging professionally as both a lead guitarist and bassist. In 1993, Dan was asked to perform live for the ABC TV program - "4 Corners". He was asked to perform his version of the William Roberts song that Jimi Hendrix covered and made famous, "Hey Joe".

Over the next few years, Dan toured and recorded with many local and interstate artists. Dan mostly performed then as a professional bassist travelling with his Fender P-Bass, using the experience to constantly learn and improve his musical abilities.

By January 2006, after a personal tragedy, Dan had an endorsement with Fender Australia and had re-invented himself and his sound. His passion for music was back stronger than ever.

In 2007, Dan appeared on the TV program - "Song Writers Accross Australia", which was aired on Channel 31. He gained extensive radio airplay for his "Live @ Catho" album, nationally and internationally. Dan has also been a featured blues artist in many music publications, websites and music programmes around the world.

August 2008 saw Dan playing his blistering brand of Blues/Rock to enthusiastic crowds throughout Denmark, Sweden and Norway in many different venues; from tiny pubs to huge outdoor blues festivals with crowds of thousands.

Dan headed back to Denmark and Sweden in 2009 for a 3 month tour. The Dan Granero Band performed at various places such as the famous Stampen - Stockholm, Sweden to MOJO Blues Bar - Copenhagen, Denmark. Dan also performed at the MC Dagarna Bikers Festival - Vastervik, Sweden where he played on the same bill as Canned Heat.

Dan is no stranger to enthusiastic crowds. Anyone on the East Coast of Australia who has been lucky enough to catch one of his shows knows that he is an artist who puts his heart and soul into every performance.

Watching Dan and his beloved ’79 Fender Stratocaster do their thing is a sight (and sound) to behold.

Dan is doing his bit to keep the great Australian Blues/Rock tradition alive, with recent performances described as ‘must see’ by Reverb Magazine.

Dan recorded his current record, "Can't Stand To Lose" in January 2009, at "The Oakglen Treehouse" on the Central Coast of New South Wales - Australia with legendary producer/engineer, Dave Scotland. This album intentionally captures the raw energy of the live sessions featuring two of Dan's dearest friends and highly respected musicians; Lawrence Gambale on bass and Michael Williams on drums with minimal production and no overdubs.

After their successes at the 2009 Tamworth Country Music Festival and an outstanding 2010 national tour, Sydney songsmiths Sam Buckingham, Sarah Humphreys, Kent Eastwood & Renny Field team together once again to bring an intimate show of storytelling, humour, friendship and musical comraderie to their hometown of Sydney

SingerSongwriters

A quiet and unassuming personality, Renny Field lets his songs do all the talking. Delivered without subterfuge or pretext, the simplest of stories delivered frankly can touch profoundly. And so it is that Renny’s performances are characterised by their authenticity - an uncontrived, almost conversational interaction, set to music. Currently based in Ireland, Renny returns to Australia for a short tour to showcase his new material and share the stage with some old friends. "...merging experience, wisdom and creativity: that hallowed state all singer/songwriters aspire to." Music Review Unsigned, Dublin.

Central Coast songstress Sarah Humphreys had a busy year last year. She signed with Mushroom Music Publishing, Recorded and released her third independent CD, 'Autumn' which was co-produced by ARIA winner Shane Nicholson. Heavily pregnant, she then won the ABC Music Artist Of The Year
2009 (ABC Newcastle Music Awards) and, soon after, welcomed her first born son into the world. This change in life has given a new depth and meaning to the singer  whos 2008 breakthrough album 'Teapot Trees & Love Birds', produced by Michael Carpenter, garnered her much respect in the industry with a gorgeous blend of folk, pop and 60's inspired songs. She now returns to the stage after a year spent at home with her family, with new songs and stories of her journeys through many a season. 'Earthy Grounded & Honest.' Drum Media

After a trip to New York City in late 2009, Kent Eastwood was so inspired by the city he penned an entire album, inspired by the great songs and artists who've cut their teeth in the heart of the big apple. In just four days he recorded the songs in a Backpackers hostel in Brooklyn. Those recording sessions have become his 3rd album known as "The Corktown Sessions". Eastwood has performed as a Keyboard player with many well known Sydney Songwriters and most notably in 2003 he toured with rock band Waikiki who went on to top the UK charts as  "The Howling Bells".
Eastwood has just returned from a six week tour of Europe and the UK where he performed in Berlin, London's famous Troubadour and Ireland. Eastwood spent his downtime writing and recording in Prague and Paris and plans to release new material from his European recordings late next year.

With three independent releases under her belt, each with songs reaching finalist status in the International Songwriting Competition & Music Oz Awards, Sam Buckingham flawlessly delivers the sweetest of performances every time with catchy hooks, enchanting vocals and an un-matched desert tray of folk/pop candies. After spending the last year, between tours and overseas adventures, penning tracks for her next album (to be recorded 2011) the Sydney Raval show nestles comfortably inside Buckingham's upcoming 'Homeward Bound' tour which takes place nationally throughout February & March 2011 in her Australian fans living rooms and backyards for intimate unplugged performances. "An impressive emerging folk star"
Rip it Up.

Each a budding, successful singer songwriter in their own right, the last few years has seen these three troubadours play alongside the likes of Mia Dyson, Clare Bowditch, Lior, The Basics, Kasey Chambers, Ian Moss, The Whitlams, Abby Dobson, Sara Storer and Angus & Julia Stone. This, combined with relentless touring, festival shows, Triple j, Fbi (Sydney), RRR
(Melbourne) and countless community radio and television support, their independent records are enjoying great success around Australia.

Joining each other on stage to swap stories and share songs, this is a collaboration and enchating live show experience not to be missed.

Mr.Percival has an amazing sense of natural pitch and creates an awesome ensemble of sounds through multiple microphones and looping pedals. A master of the ride, Mr.Percival transforms the ambience of a space from a respectful choral audience to a frenzied dance fest, all unrestrained energy and interaction, in an unabashed journey through rock, reggae, trip hop, funk and swampy blues.

Video sample from the Fig - "Mr. Percival Choir":

Jimmy Barnes says “Mr.Percival is a unique act. The things he does by himself on record as well as live, I can't even begin to think about without being very confused. He is a great singer who has come up with a completely new way of presenting his songs and his spirit to the world. I for one am a fan and wait with anticipation to see what he will come up with next.”

"It was a quasi-religious experience…The flocks of people scrambling to have a chat to the man after the gig were testament to his infectious, affable awesomeness. Go to a future gig. I challenge anyone not to honestly enjoy it wholeheartedly". Alice Body

The album Microphones includes seven original tracks showcasing the artistry and diversity of the Mr.Percival phenomenon and follows the highly acclaimed Out of the Loop. Friends who contributed to the Microphones grooves include Mahalia Barnes, Katie Noonan, Miss Little and American looping artist/comedian Reggie Watts.
